How to Sign up in IRCTC New Website?

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is the Subsidiary of Indian Railway, which manages the entire online process of Indian Railway. IRCTC is an amazing platform that lets the user access the site, book train tickets, reserve tickets etc. Not all stands in a long queue to get a single ticket since more and more users are turning towards an online process to book tickets at their comfort. Hence, it is essential to have an IRCTC account as it helps to book and to cancel train tickets online. Without an IRCTC account login, you will not be able to access the website. If you are a new user and don’t know where to start, just scroll down the article to get things done. Creating an IRCTC account takes only 4-5 minutes and it is as easy as 1..2..3.

STEP 1:

Visit the official website www.irctc.co.in. Go to sign up option. You will be redirected into a registration form where you have to enter all the required details.  First, you are required to enter the personal details such as first name, last name, age, gender, occupation, address, current location etc. Make sure that all the given details are valid and accurate. 

STEP 2:

Secondly, fill up the valid Email Id and mobile number. Before submitting the details, remember that mobile number should be active and accurate since it will be your login password.  Choose the security questions and also its answer.

STEP 3:

Now, click on ‘verify’ button to get a verification code from IRCTC.  The verification code will be sent to the mobile number that gave during the registration process. Check your mobile and enter the same code in the required field.  Accept the terms and conditions of IRCTC and Hit Submit.  Now, you have successfully created a new IRCTC account.  

With your login details, you can easily access the website and book a train ticket. If you want to book a new ticket, just follow the below steps

Enter your login credential. A new page appears where you have to enter ‘From station’  and ‘ To station’ i.e. source and destination. Then, fill up the journey date and time.  Hit submit.  You will be redirected to a new page where you are required to select your class. You can choose either a normal coach or high-class coach(SL, 1A, 2A, 3A, 2S, CC, GN, SL).  After checking the seat availability, choose your option and click on ‘book now’ option.  Make payment and receive the passenger details on your email.
